Happy School celebrated its Annual Day on 5 January 2008. All 350 children showcased

their dancing, singing, puppetry, and oratory skills in front of more than 500 guests. In

addition to the parents, representatives from voluntary organizations, associated

corporates, and state government attending the four hour long celebration.

For the first time, one of the students - Sunder Singh has been admitted to a Public School on his own merit. He has 2 sponsors - Ravi Bahl &

Koko Kapur, who will now take on the role of his guardian and look after him for the next five years till he reaches Class XII (he is now in

Class VII)

All the children who gave Board exams - Class 5 - have got 1st Divs. and of the 7 who gave Class 8 - 3 have got 1st Divs. They do not want

to leave the school, so we now have a Class 6 and a Class 9 - both being prepared for the Open School exams - of Class 8 and Class 10.
