Message from the Principal |

The underlying idea of
"The
Happy School" is to
let
underprivileged
children, who are denied
even a
normal childhood,
have
happy memories of
their
childhood.
When these
children grow up, they should be able to look back and feel
that they were loved and cared for, had new clothes
and shoes to wear, went to school, had their own uniforms
and books, played games, and participated in dramatics,
music, and painting activities -- in short, did all things
which our children take for granted!

Gurgaon, a town just
outside of
New Delhi...

compound provided by the
state government of
Haryana...

Happy School currently has
more that 350 under
privileged children in the
age
group of 4-14 years...

Happy School operates
through the year; school
staff comprises more than
40
retired teachers/lecturers
and volunteers ...

Besides providing basic
education and meals, Happy
School focuses on
personality
development through music,
dance, sports (outdoor and
indoor), drama and
debate...

from several individuals,
social groups, commercial
organizations and MNCs, and
international aid
